A message from Paul
Firstly, I would like to thank you for your continued patience and support as we make some exciting changes to The Bull Pen.
Our Head Chef, Abbie, has been hard at work developing a brand-new menu, which is now nearing completion.
Featuring a carefully curated selection of new dishes, alongside reimagined Bull Pen favourites, we are keen to share it with you and can't wait for you to experience everything Abbie, Mary and the team have been creating.
Alongside the new menu, we're also taking the opportunity to refresh both our kitchen and interior spaces, ensuring we continue to offer the high-quality food, warm hospitality and welcoming atmosphere that you've come to expect from us.
To allow these works to take place, The Bull Pen will be temporarily closed from 29th June and will reopen on 16th July.
While we appreciate this may cause some inconvenience, we hope you'll agree. when you walk back through our doors, it was worth the wait.
On behalf of Abbie, Mary, Gillian, myself and the entire Bull Pen team, thank you once again for your loyalty, encouragement and continued custom.
We are enormously grateful for your support and look forward to welcoming you back through our doors very soon, as we reveal an exciting new chapter for The Bull Pen.

It is with sadness that I have to inform you that our incredible chef for the last sixteen years, is leaving for a new adventure. Planned for some time, we are fortunate to have appointed a talented new chef, Abbie, who is now in place and busy finalising an exciting new menu. We feel sure you will join us in thanking our previous chef for his service and join us in wishing Abbie a very warm welcome to The Bull Pen.
Change involves a huge amount of work, both in and outside of the kitchen. As such, we are currently only able to offer a limited menu, as detailed below.
We apologise if your favourite dish is not available, but thank you in advance for your patience and much-valued custom.
Abbie and the team are taking a lot of care in developing our new menu, which is sure to feature some Bull Pen favourites, reimagined classics and lots of tasty new dishes to enjoy.
I want to take this opportunity to thank our wonderful front and back of house teams, for their ongoing support. Thanks also to you, our loyal customers, for your continued patronage. It means the world and we look forward to bringing you our fantastic new menu soon.
